“I’ll help you move more efficiently, so your body can handle what you’re asking of it, whether that’s sport, training, or day-to-day life.”
Why are you a Physiotherapist?
“I’ve always been interested in how the body works, particularly in sport and why injuries tend to repeat themselves.
Over time, that interest shifted towards understanding how movement patterns and training load interact, and how small inefficiencies can build into bigger problems.
That’s what led me into physiotherapy, being able to assess that properly and help people make meaningful changes that actually last.”
Why do people usually see you?
“I work with a mix of people, from those involved in endurance-based sports like triathlon, cycling, running, and tennis, through to people who just want to move better day to day.
In both cases, the issue is often the same, how the body is moving and how it’s handling load over time.
For some, that shows up when they’re training or competing. For others, it’s in everyday movements that don’t feel quite right or keep causing discomfort.
My focus is on identifying what’s actually contributing to the problem, then refining movement and building the right strength and control so things improve and hold up long term.
I also have a growing interest in how factors like female health and gynaecological issues, energy availability, and metabolic health influence general health, performance, recovery, and injury risk. This includes working with people experiencing things like fatigue, hormonal fluctuations, or persistent low energy, and helping them better understand how to train and move in a way that supports their overall health.”
What do you do outside the clinic?
“Outside the clinic, I enjoy playing tennis, cycling, and pushing myself with training, including triathlons and running. I also enjoy getting out for a good coffee and staying active.”
Your first session is a 60-minute consultation designed to give you clarity on what’s going on, help you feel better, and provide a clear plan for moving forward. The focus is on understanding your issue thoroughly and making progress from day one.
• a clear explanation of what’s contributing to your issue
• treatment on the day to reduce pain and improve movement
• targeted mobility, strength, or control work where it’s actually needed
• guidance on what to do between sessions and how to progress
• a plan built around what you want to get back to
We can help you settle things down quickly, but we also look beyond the symptoms. If you want to fix the issue properly and stop it from coming back, we’ll guide you through that as well.
At its core, what we do is help people get back to doing what they can’t currently do. For some, that means getting out of pain. For others, it means walking comfortably, getting back to work, returning to the gym or sport, managing a long-term condition better, or moving through day-to-day life with more confidence.
We work across a wide range of issues, from injuries and musculoskeletal pain to neurological conditions, post-surgical rehab, and lifestyle-related health concerns where movement, strength, and function all play an important role.
Whether you’ve been given a diagnosis like bursitis, a tendon injury, osteoarthritis, or disc herniation, or you’re just not sure what’s going on, we’ll help you make sense of it and guide you on what to do next.
In most cases, we’ll be able to give you a clear direction and diagnosis straight away. If things are more complex, we’ll explain what we know, what we need to work through, and what the plan is from there.
You’ll leave your first session knowing what’s going on, what needs to change, and what the next steps look like.
That’s completely fine. You don’t need a referral to get started, and you don’t need to have it all figured out before booking.
If you’re unsure, just book a time that suits you. If you book online, our team will contact you shortly after to make sure you’re with the right person. If you call, we’ll guide you then. All of our therapists can help with a wide range of issues, and if something more specific is needed, we’ll help direct you to the therapist best suited to your situation.
Most people don’t come in with a diagnosis; they just know something isn’t right.
Generally, it’s because:
• Pain is stopping them from doing what they need or enjoy
• Something feels off and isn’t settling
• They’re getting back into activity, and something is holding them back
• Their day-to-day comfort or quality of life is affected
• They’ve had an injury, setback, or surgery and need a plan
• They want help managing a condition through movement
Sometimes it’s clear what’s going on, sometimes it’s not. Either way, working that out and giving you a clear plan is part of the process.
You can book in and pay privately, and if you have private health cover, you can claim on the spot.
We also work with Medicare, CTP, Workers Compensation, NDIS, and DVA regularly, so if any of those apply to you, our admin team will guide you through it and help take care of the process.
If you book online, we’ll cover this in your welcome call. If you book over the phone, we can talk it through with you then.
