What's your why?

My mum used to be a chiropractor and I think that it had an impression on me from a young age. It definitely sparked an interest for me in the ‘why’ behind the workings of the body. Why we get hurt, why we feel pain and what we can do to fix these things. I also love exercise. Strength training, cardio - anything, and I want myself and all other people to be able to do so, pain free, for the rest of our lives. There’s a lot more that people can do to take control of their own health then what they might realise. Becoming an Exercise Physiologist has allowed me to gain a lot of valuable knowledge to be able to help as many people as possible on their health and fitness journeys.

If you were marooned on a tropical island, which two staff members would you want with you and why?

Judd, to have a training partner for some island workouts and runs. I reckon we could build a beach gym with everything we need, and Matt for the wisdom to either get us off the island or make it our home. He could also teach me how to surf to kill time on our island.
