“I take the time to understand you and what’s holding you back, so we can get you moving better, feeling better, and back to doing what you love.”
“I originally got into physiotherapy through my own experience as a high-performance hockey athlete when I was younger. I spent a lot of time around physio and became really interested in how the body works and recovers.
As I’ve grown in my career, that’s shifted more towards helping everyday people. Most people I see aren’t athletes; they're just trying to move better, stay active, keep up with their kids, or get back to feeling like themselves again.
That’s the part I really enjoy understanding the person in front of me and helping them build confidence in their body again, not just get out of pain, but actually return to the things that matter to them.”
“Most people come to see me through word of mouth, usually because something doesn’t feel right, even if they don’t have a clear diagnosis yet.
A lot of the people I see are coming for a second opinion. They’ve often tried other treatments but haven’t improved, or they haven’t been given a clear direction. I see a mix of musculoskeletal, vestibular, and neurological presentations, whether that’s ongoing movement issues, dizziness or imbalance, or managing conditions like MS or Parkinson’s. I also work closely with a lot of women through pregnancy and postpartum who want guidance on how to move and feel like themselves again.
Because of this, I often end up working with families, teams, and gym communities, starting with one person and then helping others with similar issues. I’ve also worked with a range of athletes, including CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting, boxing and athletics, from recreational through to elite levels.
My approach is to work out what’s actually driving the issue. I’m not just looking at where symptoms are showing up, but how your body is functioning as a whole. That includes how you’re moving, as well as factors like your training load, sleep, stress, recovery, and overall health, including any underlying or contributing factors.
From there, we build a clear plan using the right mix of treatment, movement, and education, whether that’s strength work, balance or vestibular rehabilitation, or graded exposure, depending on what you need.
The goal is to help you understand your body, move better, and feel confident again, while also addressing the bigger picture so the issue doesn’t keep coming back.”
“I spend a lot of my time training, mainly strength and some CrossFit, and more recently, a lot of surfing, which has become a big part of my routine over the last few years. I also love spending time at the beach with my dog, Maggie. Staying active and being outdoors is a big part of my life, and something I really value helping other people get back to as well.”
Your first session is a 60-minute consultation designed to give you clarity on what’s going on, help you feel better, and provide a clear plan for moving forward. The focus is on understanding your issue thoroughly and making progress from day one.
• a clear explanation of what’s contributing to your issue
• treatment on the day to reduce pain and improve movement
• targeted mobility, strength, or control work where it’s actually needed
• guidance on what to do between sessions and how to progress
• a plan built around what you want to get back to
We can help you settle things down quickly, but we also look beyond the symptoms. If you want to fix the issue properly and stop it from coming back, we’ll guide you through that as well.
At its core, what we do is help people get back to doing what they can’t currently do. For some, that means getting out of pain. For others, it means walking comfortably, getting back to work, returning to the gym or sport, managing a long-term condition better, or moving through day-to-day life with more confidence.
We work across a wide range of issues, from injuries and musculoskeletal pain to neurological conditions, post-surgical rehab, and lifestyle-related health concerns where movement, strength, and function all play an important role.
Whether you’ve been given a diagnosis like bursitis, a tendon injury, osteoarthritis, or disc herniation, or you’re just not sure what’s going on, we’ll help you make sense of it and guide you on what to do next.
In most cases, we’ll be able to give you a clear direction and diagnosis straight away. If things are more complex, we’ll explain what we know, what we need to work through, and what the plan is from there.
You’ll leave your first session knowing what’s going on, what needs to change, and what the next steps look like.
That’s completely fine. You don’t need a referral to get started, and you don’t need to have it all figured out before booking.
If you’re unsure, just book a time that suits you. If you book online, our team will contact you shortly after to make sure you’re with the right person. If you call, we’ll guide you then. All of our therapists can help with a wide range of issues, and if something more specific is needed, we’ll help direct you to the therapist best suited to your situation.
Most people don’t come in with a diagnosis; they just know something isn’t right.
Generally, it’s because:
• Pain is stopping them from doing what they need or enjoy
• Something feels off and isn’t settling
• They’re getting back into activity, and something is holding them back
• Their day-to-day comfort or quality of life is affected
• They’ve had an injury, setback, or surgery and need a plan
• They want help managing a condition through movement
Sometimes it’s clear what’s going on, sometimes it’s not. Either way, working that out and giving you a clear plan is part of the process.
You can book in and pay privately, and if you have private health cover, you can claim on the spot.
We also work with Medicare, CTP, Workers Compensation, NDIS, and DVA regularly, so if any of those apply to you, our admin team will guide you through it and help take care of the process.
If you book online, we’ll cover this in your welcome call. If you book over the phone, we can talk it through with you then.
